Legacy Venus Class site updated. Mosaic site work. Archive library coming.

Today, Aurora PhotoArts updated its current main marketing and supports site at the operating domain name TampaPhotographyDesign.Com, which, at present, has our second Venus Class web site, a web site launched on July 31, 2007, and a Venus 2 (Our first Venus Class site was launched under Passinault.Com, which still has Venus Class site, on September 16, 2005. It currently also has a Venus 2 Venus Class site online. This site has not been updated, but we may transfer the updated files to it later today). The web site colors have been fixed, links have been adjusted, and new graphic files have been uploaded for marketing and support continuity. Regarding graphic files, our brand new logo, designed in 2011 during the development of the new Mosaic Class site, has been added to the older site.
The reason that we have updated an outdated site is because it will be quite some time before our web team will be able to get to it and replace it with a new Mosaic Class site. The site will have to be effective until 2014.
So, the site has been updated. The Venus Class is a good design, and it is proven. It’s been very effective, and continues to be. It can continue to be our main marketing and support site until we are ready to make this site our main one, officially.
Updates aside, there is more news about the Venus Class line, as well as this web site. First, this web site.
We will be locating a group of image files from 2006 to 2007 this weekend, which will allow us to add those images to our Mosaic Class image and graphic sets. We hope to have this site fully operational by late next week or in early October, at which time our AuroraPhotoArts.Com branding and marketing domain name, and our marketing domain name, TampaLooks.Com, will be rerouted from the Venus Class marketing and support web site which we updated today to this web site, which will make this web site, officially, our main marketing and support web site on that day.
After this first Mosaic Class web site is operational and becomes our main marketing and support web sites, we will build and deploy two more Mosaic Class web sites within weeks. This work will go quickly because all of the support files will be in place, enabling us to build as many as one Mosaic Class web site a week, if needed, or even more. Our next two Mosaic Class web sites will be for our model testing web marketing and support web site and our headshot photography web marketing and support web site. We will be building and deploying a huge fleet of 16 Mosaic Class web sites by the Summer of 2014, and could even have more online by the end of that year, to as many as 24.
So, in just over a year from now, we could be looking at a single incomplete Mosaic Class web site emerging from Beta testing to a mighty online fleet of up to two dozen fully operational Mosaic Class sites; a testament to how efficient our virtual factory will be. This is a sharp contrast to the work that has gone on with the Mosaic Class from 2011 to the present, which has been very slow, as the development could have, and should have, been completed in a couple of months instead of a couple of years.
There are two main reasons that development of the Mosaic Class web site design class has been slow.
First, the Mosaic Class is designed to be mass produced, and this means a lot of testing, as one mistake would be replicated along the entire line and would not be very cost-effective to fix after the sites had been built and deployed.
Second, Aurora PhotoArts is a company with a long history and a pedigree, which means that we have had to go through a lot of files from our past and current photography work. Hundreds of thousands of pictures. This took time. We have simply been waiting on the completion of our image and graphic support files, which will be needed to mass produce the sites, and that work is almost done.
Mass production of the Mosaic Class web sites will be dramatically faster than the development has been. We will be sure that what we are building and deploying will be as good as it needs to be, with minimal mistakes that would have to be fixed later. We also had to develop a site which was easy to update and upgrade, if and when needed, since there are going to be so many of them in use. This took a lot of planning, and new technology. That technology can now be easily applied in the development of other, future web site classes, which helps to justify the extra development work.
That doesn’t mean that all of our web site design work will take as long as the Mosaic Class web site has taken. Far from it. From now on, as a matter of fact, we have new design protocols in place for all kinds of web sites, including experimental research web sites. Rapid prototyping is now in place, which will allow is to develop and build a brand new web site, with an unique design, in as little as a day. These sites can also be deployed in that same day. Of course, we probably won’t do that often, but the capability is there, nether less, and we would never do that with a client site that we were commissioned to build.
At any rate, being a late 3rd Generation web site built using proven and effective technology, we are very proud of the Mosaic Class web site design. We should, too, because this web site design will be everywhere by next year, in front line service as marketing and support web sites exclusively for Aurora PhotoArts.
Although 4th Generation web sites are now in development by Aurora PhotoArts, including the upcoming Aurora Class marketing and support site for Aurora PhotoArts which is scheduled to begin deployment in 2016, at first augmenting the Mosaic Class fleet and eventually, possibly, replacing it, the Mosaic Class web sites should have an active service life well into 2021. The Mosaic Class was built to last, and was designed with a ten year life span in mind, which is another reason that development consumed those first two years of that planned life span.
Which brings us to the archive library which will be added to this site.
This is our flagship web site. It is the first Mosaic Class site, and it will be our main marketing and support web site for years to come. Although we will be building a large fleet of Mosaic Class web sites, and some might say an armada, this site will be, at least, ten times larger than the others, and it may eventually be larger than all of the others, combined.
We will be adding old news and other content from our older sites, and our history, to this site, adjusting the content and organizing it for research purposes. This will help to show and preserve our proud legacy, making this site more of a labor of love than anything else.
Blog posts for the now-closed Tampa Photographer Blog and the Tampa Photography Blog will now be updated and published on a new photography business resource web site which we are working on for the Tampa Bay market. Posts from the Tampa Designer Blog, however, will be updated and added to the archives on this site.
